I was quite concerned because the first week of Fall felt like an extension of summer with unseasonably high temperatures. However, now that it is officially October, the weather has finally cooled down some. Generally, we all tend to move towards a darker color palette when it gets colder, but I decided to pay some homage to my lighter colors in fall because they are definitely still wearable!
(On a side note, I apologize for not uploading in quite some time. I am a lot more busy now that I have a full time job and sometimes I do not have enough time to get some blogging done by the time I get home from work. I was also away in New York and Pittsburgh for two weekends, so I did not have time to shoot at all. Last but not least, I have a new baby that is taking up some of my time as well! I adopted a baby Holland Lop bunny after years of wanting to get one. I can dedicate a post to her if you are interested, but if you want to keep up with little Mononoke you can follow her on instagram).
Back to the matter at hand, my new job requires business casual so one day I wore this outfit to the office. I went with a long boyfriend fitted tan blazer, a light pink t-shirt and my white skinny jeans (allowed on Fridays) and a pair of brown chunky heels (not pictured). I dressed it up with my gold layered necklaces and classic Daniel Wellington watch. Clearly, I am breaking two rules by wearing light colors since it is now Fall and it is also after Labor Day – haha!
Rules were meant to be broken though, right? I think especially when it comes to fashion. Wear what makes you feel good and confident. I shall wear light colors in Fall and white pants whenever I please! Help fight the establishment with me and…
